Everybody's got a ManFriday. Whether it be a person or a camera. I'm taking this opportunity to introduce my manfriday camera, the sony A7r 3. It has today completed over 5 years of service with me and I don't even have the slightest doubt that it'll last with me another 10. I've shot all major international campaigns on this and without the slightest hiccup (ofcourse having my Hasselblad as the main camera too) Whats your favorite camera that you feel will last you a lifetime?

The first week has been all about prepping and setting up for the year. Today we're setting up our new pelican case for which I'm super excited. My last project which entailed a lot of travel made me realize that a case like this is very important when you're catching flights back to back.

Today we’re out of the studio at a recce. A full day of planning our frames for an upcoming campaign. A recce is very important to ensure we get the basic outline of the project in terms of lighting and other possible challenges we could face during a shoot. The shoot is mostly for impromptu improv.

Here’s a behind the scenes we were eager to share. This is a shoot we did for Period Ricard, where we shot all the 17 alcohol bottle brands in the portfolio. It was an elaborate setup, as you can see, and a back-to-back 7-day project, which was super exhausting and equally adrenaline-pumping. I wish we had made a BTS film for this one.

Today at the photoshoot, it was super fast-paced. Here's me trying to use my hand to convey to the stylist regarding the angle of the product, yes I could have told him but I realised that there's so much confusion about lefts and rights in a photoshoot.

Being so hands-on is the most important thing in a photoshoot, I personally believe that if I cannot practice all the roles of professionals I hire, they could probably not get me the result I want, which is perfection. Here I'm helping my stylist fix some glass and products for the next shot in my current technology product brand shoot.

Today we started a new project for a new brand. This one is something I personally have a keen interest in. Its a tech brand focussing on biometrics wifi-activated door locks. While it has been challenging creating different rigs to mount the product, the personal interest in the product keeps me going.

Today at the studio, we shot for a T-shirt brand once again. Its fun to have return clients who trust us with their products who they've brought up literally like babies from scratch. A very encouraging and reassuring creative career where we get to meet so many different people. Today's client's name is Ali and he hails from Kashmir.

Today at the studio was rather a day I have been waiting for, my prints ready in frames ready to be put up. Its always a very mesmerizing and exhilarating experience to see our work in print, up on frames, in my own little exhibition space and I get to work in the middle of it every single day. It's an exciting time always.

Today was a productive day at the studio as we focused on capturing the essence of our alcohol bottles. We spent hours carefully arranging the bottles, adjusting the lighting, and perfecting the shot. Today was an exciting day as we worked on a photo shoot for a prominent footwear brand. The goal was to capture the beauty and versatility of the shoes, and we did so by photographing them from different angles and perspectives.

As we set up the shots, we paid close attention to the details of each footwear, from the texture of the material to the shape of the heel. We experimented with various lighting techniques to highlight the shoes' unique features, making them stand out and catch the viewer's eye.

Dark Perfume Bottles and Lighting :-
today at the studio we experimented with dark perfume bottles and lighting. By playing around with different angles and intensities of light, we are able to bring the unique features of each perfume  and create a captivating visual experience.
